I have now completed Week 3.  With this task, I was a little bit more familiar with the premise of what we had to do, as I was fairly comfortable in Vision, watching other people's comments, etc.  So, I have now created a list of best reads  (although it is 10 best and I have only 1 so far - more to come later).  I am also following someone else.
Hello, all,

Greetings from our library.  Thank goodness for cooperative staff members when things don't go as expected when tweeting!!  I have chosen those that I wish to follow, and I have tweeted.  I would like to know how to direct my tweet to another NB23 participant - could you please let me know? I am behind in my 23 things, but feel that I am getting there, slowly but surely.

Has anyone out there read The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay?  Probably everyone has; but, if not, I recommend that you do.  It is a great read.  If you have read it - how did you like the ending?  I did not love it.  Any comments?

This is so neat!  Setting up a Twitter account was not hard at all.  I can't believer that senior citizen me will be tweeting with all the other birds in no time at all.  (As you can tell, I am a corny senior citizen.)
Labels are done, I think.  We shall see.

New Beginnings!

Where to start?

Got the word that there are 23 things to do.  Uh-oh!  How can I do this?  I began reading the instructions with much trepidation.  This, after most of the other staff in our library have already gotten right into it.  I do not have a huge understanding of any things social media!!

When I began working here, bear in mind that we signed out books by a machine that took a picture of the library card, the book card and a prenumbered card.  Step by step I have come along with the changes. Aha - you can teach a well seasoned dog new tricks!  (I refuse to call myself an old dog.)

After much good advice from the other staff members, I have managed to get this show on the road.

By my calculations, this ends Things 1 and 2.  On to Thing 3.
